war37 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHi Thankyou for your replies.
He has brough 3 properties whilst with me all 3 I have help renovate and pay bills towards and I deal with all his tenants problems too.
I asked yesterday if he would put my name on the house deeds just 20% where we live he replied '' You just Want what I have'' .I can only work part-time as I have 3 children so couldnt afford to buy a property as you have to have so may checks and things done to buy a property here,my ex doesnt give me any money towards the 2 eldest children so the money I earn goes on the 3 children Im afraid. So what do I do,stick it out and just accept he sees its all his and stop helping him with his tenants etc.......hes selling 1 property and buying a villa abroad,so I said I wont go with him until we are Married as Im so fed up with doing it all his way..........he has the control and loves it,I said to him yesterday hes a control freak! He has to hold all the fiances in his hands, yes he got the mortages to but these places but Ive helped him and I get no thanks so now I stop........
Thankyou xxxxx

Just a thought, why not buy a home to rent out in just your name or jointly? Why should he be opposed to something you got together, if all the other places were bought by him before he met you.
If he's opposed, it doesn't mean you can't buy a place on your own. Nothing glamorous. I the US, all you need is a down payment and proof of income. He could even co-sign with the condition if you go in to default, and only if, he know owns a equal to 75% percentage-- that still leave you at least 25%, but state it must be sold by both of you, you get paid first, basically: make sure it doesn't go into default and he sell it for $1 to be an ass cause you not together.
Better yet, ask him to ut a house in your daughter's name (a blind trust so it doesn't mess with scholarship and financial aid (something Americans worry about because univeristy if 15-25 pouns a year-- yes pounds!)

I don't know UK, but I would start saving all recipts and try to get some sign document.
If he bought the house before you met, you're just paying rent. the one lucky thing you have is your daughter together-- you can get child support and use his rental income and properties. perhaps a legal agreement stating you get this house and you won't ask for money from the other 4 would be to his likeing-- broach carefully, if he obtained by himself, anyone would take that as a threat.
don't let your kid become 18 before working this out, you'll have no chld support issues and no old age income. If he breaks up with you and claims you don't own proprty so you have to get out, show your recipts as proof of renting-- he should have to legally evict you (I don't know UK law). Eviction can take a while and even longer if you fight it. also, fight for child support while fighting eviction.
Also, check into commonlaw, domestic partnership rights-- you may have more rights than you think (although in the state most common law must be 8-10 years and if a person claims state, in writing, you're not commonlaw it doesn't go into affect).
good luck and try to get it sorted out with a year-- but if he open a bank account in your name as a solution, make sure you have a contact that states it's for you and not future child support and child support will be determined by the courts. also, make sure it's enough for being a partner.
