Can I get help to pay my mortgage?

i hope someone can give me some advice my husband has just left me with two children and a mortgage to pay i have just started the process of claiming income support and council tax benefit but i can not seem to find out if i can get any help any where to help pay my mortgage as my husband does not have an income so can not help with that area

You are doing all the right things to get income support and other benefits but to find out all your entitlements its best to get in touch with your local Citizens Advice Bureau. The counsellor who takes on your case will tell you exactly what you can claim for and get.
