Due to previous problems we have a bad credit rating and cannot obtain a loan.We are now both in secure jobs.I really need a fresh start and an option out of this crisis I am experiencing at the moment. I have thought about an IVA, but also have some debts that would not be covered with this (i.e. friends and family). Can anyone offer any suggestions. Thanks Reply to this Question |

reader, anonymous, writes (27 July 2007): my sister got herself into serious debt and didnt know what to do.. she found a way though, its called a administration order. basically you have to have under £5000 of debt (although you should check this amount now). you go to your local court and tell them you want an administration order. you tell them what the debts are and how much you can afford to pay per month in total.. you pay this amount to the court and all the companies fight for their % of your monthly payment. this continues until the debt is paid.
my sister paid an amount sutable to her living needs and everything was paid in the end. she has still been able to get credit and for things like council tax, she had an amount taken from her wages to pay that particular debt.
hope that helps
